Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!
The To Be Read pile just keeps growing and growing.... today's heart-ish, bookish (dog-ish!) addition is Inside of A Dog by Alexandra Horowitz (thank you, Valentine!). Also really looking forward to 13 rue Therese by Elena Mauli Shapiro and the intriguing indie selection The Universe In Miniature in Miniature by Patrick Somerville.
But before I can start on those stories, I have to finish these stories.......
Really enjoying both books - The Story of Stuff by Annie Leonard is very informative, readable, and also very moving. Will make you think, and think again (full review coming up this weekend as part of a blog tour). The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman is a delicious escape when the stuff about the Stuff starts to overwhelm. The two together make for a nice balance.

The Golden Compass is also a favourite of mine for any time re-reading. But before I reread one more time, I want to finish the series. Just have the last one left!
ReplyDeleteI'm reading The Memorist by MJ Rose. #2 in The Reincarnationist series.
I'm also reading Coyote Ugly by Pati Nagle - lovely collection of short stories.
You always have such interesting books going!
ReplyDeleteInteresting selection of books, I haven't read any of them personally. But that Inside of a Dog has been intriguing me for the longest time. And The Universe In Miniature in Miniature sounds good! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Genna!
